How is duckpin different from “regular” bowling? The game is scored the same as ten-pin, but the player rolls three balls per turn instead of two. The balls are roughly the size of a softball and have no holes. Pins, while similar in silhouette, are shorter, slightly thinner, and lighter than their ten-pin equivalents.

Where on the Palace Grounds is duckpin bowling and how many lanes are there? Located on the 3rd floor with the Rooftop Pub & Lounge, there are six Brunswick ® duckpin lanes for your enjoyment! (see times below)

How do I reserve a lane? Reserve a lane online by creating a free account HERE through our friends at CourtReserve.  Walk-ins are still accepted however not guaranteed. Be sure to grab a drink at the Rooftop Pub & Lounge or just relax on the open-air patio until your lane is available! Lanes accommodate up to 6 bowlers!

What is appropriate attire? There is no special equipment or footwear necessary, however, wearing your lucky undies is recommended!

What can I expect to toss down? The bowling rate ranges from $20 to $40 per hour, per lane—the fun, however, is all free!
